Program
MeBoP is modeled after the prestigious Biology of Parasitism summer course held at the Marine Biological Laboratory for over 30 years.
The course combines morning lectures from leading scientists in the field of parasite biology and enteric disease research with afternoon lab practical modules using modern cutting-edge approaches.
MeBoP is two weeks long, with 10 lectures and 2 parallel 2-week modules.
The inaugural course was held from July 25th - August July 2016.
The second MeBoP course was held form July 23rd to August 5th, 2017.
The third MeBoP course was held form July 22nd to August 4th, 2018.
The fourth MeBoP course was canceled due to COVID.
Due to the continued COVID pandemic the fifth MeBoP course was held as a virtual alumni workshop.
